Scissorella’s Surprise Winter Ball
Friday 5th & Saturday 6th December, 2025
6pm / 3pm
Brought to you by local and internationally acclaimed award winning dance artist, Eleesha Drennan.
Scissorella is Cinderella reimagined for today with a ‘choose your own adventure’ style ending.
And they all lived happily ever after… and then what?
Imagine you receive a gold embossed letter in the post, it looks important and its not a bill for once…
“Her majesty the Queen cordially invites you to the winter Ball“.
“This December, for one night and one day only on the wake of the last supermoon of 2025,
The royal palace has decided it is vital to gather together to save Christmas from more bad news.
In the face of adversity I know little better tonic for the soul than a song and a dance.
Summoning all children at heart, this immersive festive experience is for you and yours to discover.“
Now that you have received the invitation from the queen herself, what on earth will you wear to the Winter Ball?
Christmas is coming, the pressure is on and there’s no time or budget to spare.
Do you re-purpose that over-the-top, once in a lifetime occasion outfit or come as you are and see if the the bodyguards will turn a blind eye?
Show up in a dress code of your own design, all you have to do is convince the queen to let you in. Go on, I dare you to wear whatever you please.
Remember, you must play the game to win the secret prize. Good luck!
